Skutt High School has done it up big this season with a new video board, the first of its kind in Omaha. The latest addition to Moylan Field is high definition, weather resistant and huge, 13 by 29 feet. Fans, students and players love the energy it adds to football games.
The video board is student-operated. “Basically what I do is cue all the pep rally videos, the hype videos, the timeout videos and you can develop sequences through and show it to the audience," says senior Mackenzie Moode.
She and other journalism students also use the video board when the team is not playing. "Sometimes our coaches would play up our practice and we would use that right then and there to improve and make adjustments during practice," says senior Kirayle Jones.
